Bees & Ferns Bag

This bag features two cyanotype prints, done by McKaila Hope Designs (IG: mc_kailahopedesigns , FB: McKaila Hope Designs).  

The front of the bag features a cyanotype print of three (3) bees and a large fern leaf. See below for care instructions. Jean buttons are placed at the base of the shoulder strap for embellishment.

The back of the bag has a large pocket with another cyanotype print of a bee and fern leaves. 

Bag measures approximately 11 in. by 10 in. 

This bag has one shoulder strap, and functions as a cross-body bag. May be tied to different lengths.

The inside is lined with NS tartan, and includes a divider. 

Care instructions provided by McKaila Hope Designs: Keep washing to a minimum if possible. Hand-wash only. Turn item inside out & do not use any soap or detergent containing phosphates, bleach, or sodium. Air dry or tumble alone on low heat. Do not dry in direct sunlight. Over-washing may cause the print to fade. If fading occurs over time, washing the print in a dilute bath of hydrogen peroxide can usually restore it to its original intensity. 

Cyanotype prints are archival and permanent. However, yellowing may occur if prints are exposed to phosphates or alkaline environments so, cyanotype fabrics must be laundered in cold water using non-phosphate detergents. Use care while handling cyanotype prints, as sweat and hand oils may also cause discoloration.

Each bag is unique and one-of-a-kind. Made by hand. Color may vary slightly from pictures. All denim products are made using recycled and upcycled denim/jeans. We strive to use as much of each pair of jeans as possible, to help eliminate unnecessary waste.
